"My goal as a Psychotherapist is to assist people on an inner journey and reconnect to the authentic Self. I believe that we all need to bring the miracle of life into our consciousness and reconnect with the 'magic' of nature. Drawing on my Celtic heritage and an eternal love of nature, I aim to help people connect to their own healing energy. When emotional blocks and negative thoughts are challenged and corrected we return to the authentic Self – our birthright of peace and happiness".
Counselling and Psychotherapy
The Anam Kara Centre
I have a clinical background that is rooted in conventional psychodynamic training and complimented by a variety of holistic psychotherapies. Through therapeutic intervention, psychological and emotional blocks to self-fulfillment and health are revealed and cleared.
I work with my clients to uncover and release negative belief systems and suppressed emotions. This process allows natural healing to occur to restore the individual to a positive modality of living.
I have a background of over 30 years in the therapeutic profession. I obtained a Master’s Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Vermont College, USA and an Advanced Level 3 EMDR training in EMDR under Dr. Laurel Parnell (Parnell Institute) in New York City, NY.. These programs offered me an orientation in non-traditional psychodynamic therapies.
